The Climbing Tree Pre-School

We take children from 9 months to 5 years old (places for under 2s are limited).

We are open Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3.45pm (details below), term time.

All our staff have, or are taking, at least a level 3 childcare qualification. The Manager has a Degree in Early Years Education and holds Early Years Professional Status, awarded by the The Teaching Agency. 

We are Validated by Leicestershire County Council to claim Nursery Education Funding (NEF). NEF is available for children from the start of the term after their 3rd birthday. Some children will be eligible from the term after their 2nd birthday.

Ofsted inspected us in December 2015 and rated us OUTSTANDING in all that we do.

All staff have had an enhanced DBS check. Staff ratios are in compliance with Ofsted requirements.

Opening Times

Open 8:15am until 15:45pm

Early Starters 8:15am to 9:15am

Perfect for Parents to drop off before going to a school assembly

Morning Pre-School 9:15am to 12:15pm

Growing through play as we help each child grow as an individual


Lunch Club 12:15pm to 12:45pm

We sit together to eat. Bring a packed lunch. We provide a drink

Afternoon Pre-School 12:45pm to 15:15pm

Time to explore and get involved in even more play
